THE TOWN OF LINCOLN IS IMPLEMENTING A VOLUNTARY OUTDOOR WATERING BAN, AND ASKS RESIDENTS TO CONSERVE AMID PERSISTENT DROUGHT CONDITIONS

Pursuant to the Town of Lincoln’s WATER USE RESTRICTION ORDINANCE FOR WATER SYSTEMS OWNED OR OPERATED BY MUNICIPALITIES OR VILLAGE DISTRICTS (Adopted September 21, 2020 under its authority to regulate public water systems under RSA 38:26).

The Select Board are hereby implementing a Level One (1) Water Restriction as follows:

The public is requested to refrain voluntarily from landscape watering and to limit the amount of water used outdoors for other purposes.

Landscape watering shall not occur between the hours of 8AM and 7PM.

While drought conditions persist, your cooperation is needed to ensure the critical needs of the community are met, such as fire supply, and to prevent non-essential water use from impacting the supplies of residents on private wells.
