Lincoln 2026 Master Plan
Project Overview
The Town of Lincoln has launched an initiative to update its 2016 Master Plan — a long-range document that serves as a roadmap and will guide future decisions about land use, housing, economic development, transportation, natural resources, and community life over the next 10–15 years. A lot has changed since 2016. This update will help ensure Lincoln continues to thrive as a welcoming mountain community that balances its historic character and natural beauty with thoughtful growth, development, and year-round opportunities. The plan will set a clear vision for how Lincoln should evolve, manage growth over time, and ensure resident’s quality of life—this includes protecting what makes the town special while identifying strategies to support residents, visitors, and local businesses well into the future. Resilience Planning and Design is partnering with the Lincoln Planning Board to lead this effort.
Get Involved
Your voice is essential to shaping Lincoln’s future. The Master Plan will be guided by community input, and we want to hear from everyone—Full-time and part-time residents, property owners, business owners, employees, local organizations, and visitors who care about Lincoln. Throughout the planning process, there will be opportunities to share your ideas, concerns, and hopes for the town’s future. Whether you live, work, or recreate here, sharing your feedback will help ensure the plan reflects what makes Lincoln unique, and charts a path forward that honors our small-town character, mountain setting, and year-round vitality.
